December: Insider Tips, News & Resources

Hi Reader,

How do you feel about this last month of the year?
To me, it seems like the whole of 2025 went by very fast!

I have a few updates and resources to share with you before the Holiday Season captures your full attention. They relate to the usual categories for this newsletter:

  1. Thriving on Your Own
  2. Job Search & Career Advice
  3. Relationships & Communication
  4. Business & Entrepreneurship
  5. Mind-Body-Spirit Connection
  6. Hobbies anyone?

1. Thriving on Your Own

Do you have an Accoutability Buddy for your projects?
I'm in full writing mode these days (a book for introverted entrepreneurs), and Kiki — my cute accountability buddy — dragged me out yesterday after finishing a new chapter. A welcome break to clear my head and enjoy the fresh snow.
But I put him to work as well! Together, we came up with this short video for introverts:
"Five Actionable Steps to Improve Your Life" — presented in Kiki's style. :-)
You can watch it on
Instagram or TikTok (sound on).
Did any tips get your attention?

PS: I've added more videos featuring Kiki and plan to continue doing so until the end of December. As an introvert myself, it's easier to have him do the "talking" on social media. It also adds some lightness and a festive touch these days.

2. Job Search & Career Advice

There's a lot of hype these days about using AI to create a job application or find the answers you want. I found it tricky, though. And I'm not the only one. Recently, in a webinar about public procurement, the leader mentioned that it's difficult to trust candidates' job applications these days. AI makes it easier to create a good one, but when the candidate shows up, the gap between what's presented and the employer's expectations (based on the application) can be a reason for not passing the interview. You both lose time and energy; it might also affect your credibility and sabotage your self-confidence. Integrity is important.

I wrote this award-winning book before AI became a trend.
Is it still relevant today?
While tools and tactics evolve (AI, remote interviews, etc.), this book focuses on timeless strategies rooted in psychology—which narrows the gap between the candidate’s offering and the employer’s decision. The introvert strengths are adaptable and even more valuable amid trend changes and market shifts.
Who is this book for?
Job Seekers, Recruiters, Career Coaches, HR Staff, Managers, Parents, and Gift Givers.

3. Relationships & Communication

Holiday gatherings can be warm and joyful — but they can also bring unexpected, personal, or intrusive questions from relatives and acquaintances. While some people use these interactions to satisfy their curiosity — “Still single?” “When are you having kids?” “Did you find a job?” etc. — these personal questions can feel awkward, draining, and overwhelming for introverts.

Join us for an introvert-friendly coaching webinar that will help you navigate such situations with greater clarity and calm confidence. There's also a bonus gift included with the ticket.

4. Business & Entrepreneurship

Several years ago, Gerard Keledjian challenged me to write a similar book for Introverted Entrepreneurs, how they can use their strengths for business growth. While I accepted the challenge, I tried several times to structure the book content and start writing ... but something was not clicking.
This finally happened recently! If you're curious about what I'm writing, I published the first half of the chapter "Introvert’s Entrepreneurial Roadblocks" from the upcoming book “The Introvert Entrepreneur’s Wholistic Guide: Leverage Your Strengths to Fuel Your Business Growth” on the Introverts Academy's blog. Click below to read it and get access to the other half of the chapter (since it was too long for a blog article).

5. Mind-Body-Spirit Connection

Here's a topic that's not usually associated with the mind-body-spirit connection: Money.
However, having more money doesn't automatically solve all problems, nor does it guarantee happiness. Even prominent figures (including billionaires, celebrities, and businesspeople) have health problems and are not immune to the extreme stages of mental health issues.
Fears around money (financial anxiety, fear of spending, of not having enough, of debt, or of economic uncertainty) can lead to mental and physical issues. Stress is the root cause of many such symptoms, which can weaken our connection with intuition and the spiritual side.
On a positive side: Have you thought that a lack of money is an opportunity to problem-solve creatively and become more resilient (instead of an excuse to give up)?
Read more about the Introverts Academy approach regarding the Money area.

6. Hobbies

• If you write books, or plan to write, I'll let you in on my little secret: I format the interior file for my books with Vellum. Created by publishing professionals, Vellum makes it easy to create beautiful books. When I was looking for someone to take on this task for my first book, someone recommended this software because it would cost me less than paying for the service (since I had many images included in that book). And I've been using it since, for all my books and to help other authors. If you are interested, Vellum has a 30% off promotion* until the end of today.
Full disclosure: I get a commission if you buy through this link. And only I recommend software that I genuinely like to use.

• Not writing? What hobbies do you plan to focus on this Holiday Season? :-)

Happy Holidays

Hi Reader, Yesterday, I found a video of Romanian Christmas carols—which brought back beautiful memories. I enjoy singing carols at this time of year, but what was really special: the video featured Brașov (see image), the city I left behind when I moved to Canada 22 years ago. It also showed the slopes of Poiana Brașov (a ski resort only 12 km away)—where I spent many weekends skiing with friends.Time passed, but we evolved as well. I have no regrets about leaving that beauty behind, because...
