Introvert's Paradox & "Black Friday"

Hi Reader,

While almost everyone knows about the introvert's need for solitude, we also long for human connection. I call this the "Introvert's Paradox."

We don't live in a vacuum. Whether it's for career or business development, a strategy that works well for introverts is focusing on partnerships and collaborations.
Because, let's be honest: we are often more comfortable talking about others than about ourselves—especially if we like or trust what they do.

In this message:
1) Special announcement
2) I need your help! (if you're open to it)
3) Three book promotions (featuring several authors)

1) Special announcement

Amazon finally agreed to price "The Key Factor: Understanding the Employer’s Perspective on Hiring" at $0 on ALL its websites!
(The price on Amazon USA was already $0 since I published it.)

This is a permanent change, NOT tied to the promotions I'll mention below. You can find it here:
https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B078Y98V3Y

Tip: You can replace "amazon.ca" in the link with the Amazon website corresponding to your country.

2) I need your help! (if you're open to it)

Two days ago, I finalized the "Speaking" page for the Introverts Academy website.

In the spirit of collaboration:
Do you have any suggestions of whom I should approach first (organizations, people, events) to raise awareness about the powerful introvert strengths? And how much the world is missing by not creating environments that allow introverts to thrive?

I would really appreciate some ideas; my mind is going in circles right now. :-)

3) Three book promotions (several authors)

My aim in joining the following three book promotions is twofold:
• To help
you discover new books.
• To
increase my visibility (as an author) by joining forces with other authors to cross-promote our books.

Talking about promotions and honesty:
I haven't checked those books myself yet, so I encourage you to
go through the book descriptions and reviews first to get a sense of what to expect.

With all the "Black Friday" buzz these days, pay also attention to the deadlines of these book promotions:

Transformational Non-Fiction Deals (until December 5)

Non-Fiction Free Books (until December 25)

Non-Fiction Books (until December 25)

All the best,
Gabriela

Happy Holidays

Hi Reader, Yesterday, I found a video of Romanian Christmas carols—which brought back beautiful memories. I enjoy singing carols at this time of year, but what was really special: the video featured Brașov (see image), the city I left behind when I moved to Canada 22 years ago. It also showed the slopes of Poiana Brașov (a ski resort only 12 km away)—where I spent many weekends skiing with friends.Time passed, but we evolved as well. I have no regrets about leaving that beauty behind, because...
