Today I’m sharing some personal stories about navigating fear, changing environments, and finding new ways to express our creative life force. 1. Life as an Introvert 2. Relationships & Communication3. Job Search & Career Advice 4. Business &...

Hi Reader, Yesterday, I found a video of Romanian Christmas carols—which brought back beautiful memories. I enjoy singing carols at this time of year, but what was really special: the video featured Brașov (see image), the city I left behind when I moved to Canada 22 years ago. It also showed the slopes of Poiana Brașov (a ski resort only 12 km away)—where I spent many weekends skiing with friends.Time passed, but we evolved as well. I have no regrets about leaving that beauty behind, because...

Hi Reader, While almost everyone knows about the introvert's need for solitude, we also long for human connection. I call this the "Introvert's Paradox." We don't live in a vacuum. Whether it's for career or business development, a strategy that works well for introverts is focusing on partnerships and collaborations. Because, let's be honest: we are often more comfortable talking about others than about ourselves—especially if we like or trust what they do. In this message:1) Special...

Hi Reader, A reader told me she felt overwhelmed when she saw the long list of 100+ introvert strengths in the Table of Contents of the newly published Awaken Your Introvert Strengths: Self-Coaching Journal for Reflection and Growth. (BTW, the journal is now also available in print on Amazon). So, in this message, I want to focus on overwhelm. While it shows up in different aspects of our personal and professional lives, it is not a bad thing or a sign to give up: Thriving on Your Own Job...

Hi Reader, Have you ever felt your natural strengths are overlooked, or been told you "need to speak up more?" Are you an introvert (or know one) who needs more confidence to move forward? I certainly experienced all this, and I gradually learned how to use my introvert strengths to move forward. That's why I started the Introverts Academy: to share how our valuable strengths can boost confidence, creativity, and resilience, leading to a more fulfilling career and life for us (and others)....

Hi Reader, I have to admit: after completely stepping down from volunteering for the writers' association I founded six years ago, I feel incredibly free and productive! Usually, hot summer days tend to slow me down, but not this time. Even with the long hours I'm putting into my own projects, it's exciting to finally advance them at my desired pace. How's your summer going so far? Let's dive into this month's topics: Thriving on Your Own Job Search & Career Advice Relationships &...
